We’re not bound to one specific method. Instead, we follow a path that works for all different families. -
Do I need a sleep consultant? As sleep consultants, we’re knowledgeable but objective. We’re often able to pinpoint the exact pieces of the sleep puzzles that are causing difficulty. Then, we coach you through the process of addressing them so your child (and the rest of your family!) can enjoy healthy, restorative sleep. If your child: Struggles to fall asleep at night or during naps Wakes frequently Often seems tired and cranky A sleep consultant would be a great fit.
-
When can I start sleep training? Before you can start sleep training, your child has to be developmentally ready to learn sleep behaviours like as sleeping long stretches overnight and taking scheduled naps. For most children, this happens around 4 months of age, but because every child is different, some may need to start later. But just because we don’t start until 4 months doesn’t mean there’s nothing you can do until then. Exposing babies to healthy sleep habits right from birth sets the stage for an easier transition into long overnight sleeps and consolidated daytime naps. We teach you to set a strong sleep foundation for your new baby in our Newborn Sleep Class.

What if I don't believe in letting my baby cry it out? You’re not alone! Many parents are uncomfortable with the idea of letting their kids cry it out. Thankfully, you don’t have to! We use other, more gradual methods of sleep training that still help your child develop healthy sleep hygiene. These methods take a little longer and require more time and commitment from you as a parent, but eventually, you will be able to reach the same outcome: a well-rested child!
-
How do I get started? The first step is to book a free, 15-minute Discovery Call. During that call, we talk about your specific family, sleep struggles, and what 1:1 support would look like for you. We can also help you decide on the right package for you. Then, once payment is received, we jump in! We start with a Zoom consultation, then create your sleep plan, and get your family on the way to a full night’s rest.
-
Are your services covered?Yes! We are registered health professionals and pediatric sleep consultants, so our sleep services are often covered under a Health Spending Account or Registered Nursing Services. It’s best to check with your insurance provider for details and to confirm, though!
